Sister Spotlight: Déja Daniel (She/Her)

The members of Revolt Incorporated are intelligent, earthshaking and revolutionary in every way, manner and fashion. Join us in recognizing some of our siblings as they enrich, empower and educate on campus and in the world.

Déja is a Freshman Criminology and Spanish double major from Atlanta, Georgia by way of Tallahassee, Florida, who aspires to be a criminal defense attorney. As a freshman, she has already made plenty of noise on the campus of Howard University. Aside from being a full-time student, she is a HUSA Exec intern, a member of Model UN, and a cohort member for the Howard University “Mecca Made Professional Certification Program.” She is also a recent winner of the “Drets Heart Foundation Scholarship.”

Outside of academics, she is a fierce advocate for BLM and for voting mobilization. Within Revolt, she is revered for both her graphic design skills and her organizational prowess in addition to her knowledge of the ins-and-outs of scholarships. Déja is personable, diligent, has a smile that will light up a room, and a genuine heart. You can see more about what Déja is up to on her Instagram: @deja.alexandra
